Shane Johnson

Shane has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and serves as President and General Partner of KAustin & Associates. Since joining the company in 2007, he has led a wide range of projects including light industrial facilities, veterinary specialty clinics, funeral homes, pharmacies, and tenant remodels. Shane is known for his strong communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative leadership style. He enjoys working through the complexities of construction projects and thrives on solving problems through thoughtful planning and open dialogue. Outside of work, Shane and his wife Tara enjoy traveling and working around their home. He’s an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and God’s Garage and is the past president of the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC). Married to Tara for 27 years, they are proud parents of Haley, a senior at Texas A&M RELLIS studying Ag Business, and Ryan, who is pursuing a firefighting career at the same campus. Shane is an avid rock crawler and has been involved in the off-road industry for many years.
